Ski Equipment List

Dear Parents

Modern skis, ski poles and ski boots are all included in the holiday package.  Lake Tahoe can be cold at this time of year and students require plenty of layers of warm clothes.  Many thin layers is better than fewer thicker ones.  I tend to wear a thin, thermal top with tracksuit bottoms.  A second layer then comprises of a thin woollen jumper, fibre-pile jacket.  Ski salopettes and ski jacket over the top.
While it is possible to hire ski clothing, TK Maxx, Decathlon in Stockport and other discount retailers often enable the purchase outright of suitable clothing for a similar price.  I have attempted to offer some advice below of what to wear.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Spyder A-Star Ski Jacket (For Men)

This can be with or without a hood.  Some jackets are insulated but summer walking jackets are fine provided enough layers are worn underneath. (Maximum Weight 16Kg)
