Appleton College News
Following the excellent GCSE results in the summer it was great
to welcome back a lot of Year 11 into Year 12. They are settling
in well and adapting to the changes
from school to 6th Form. It is good to see so many of them involved
in extracurricular activities such as Young Enterprise, service
in the community and a variety of sports. We wish them all well
in their studies—many will be taking their first AS exam
in January 2005!

Young Enterprise
Our Young Enterprise teams in year 12 have been busy with their
business ventures over the past few months. They have been selling
their products at a variety of venues including the College Open
Evening and even face painting at a local primary school! I suspect
a lot of parents will have bought or received Christmas cards
from our young enterprise students.
Good luck to all involved in 2005!
