RS
Home PageWhat is independent study? Independent study is an opportunity for you as learners to show your teacher how much you can do on your own. You will over the following weeks research your own work in the library and on the internet and produce an A4 document which will be all your own work from start to finish. What will my project have to include? Your project will have four sections. 1. Introduction to Sikhism Where and when Sikhism was founded and by whom. 2. Guru Nanak Who he was and why he was special, including a focus on his early life. 3. The Gurus Who they were and what did they do that was special? 4. Sikh beliefs Explore key Sikh beliefs such as the Guru Granth Sahib and the Khalsa. Ensure you explain Sikh beliefs on God. Your project will have as a minimum the above four sections. These sections will include pictures, diagrams and computer processed text. Your work will not be cut and pasted from the internet. Any work which is pasted from the internet will be returned and re done. |
