1	Starter: Congruent shapes Pupils will just need to know that Congruent Shapes means they are the same and not be expected to know the conditions for congruent triangles Starter: use Easiteach lesson to match congruent shapes. Main: Similar figures:  Use Easiteach lesson to introduce similar shapes and use the scale factor to find missing lengths. Complete ex 37.1 page 428 of Brown text book
2	Finding lengths in similar triangles Starter - finding lengths in similar triangles using Easiteach lesson ck Main: similar triangles matching cards - find which triangles are similar by matching the angles and then find the missing sides - multiplying by scale factor to find the larger side and dividing by scale factor to find the side from smaller shape.  See ck for cards at least one day prior to lesson.
