form Method: (2 x 104) x (4 x 103) = 20000 x 4000 = 80000000 = 8 x 107 (3.6 x 107) ÷ (1.2 x 103) = 3 x 104 Main: refine methods for multiplying and dividing numbers in standard form. Numbers used in non calculator papers will be straightforward.
