2	Starter: multiplying and dividing by a decimal (orally) Main: multiplying decimals (long multiplication and putting the decimal point back in) and dividing by a decimal (by considering equivalent fractions) Mymaths instructions CB: Answer the questions on the slides in your book. Check your answers online and mark them. Show your method clearly. If the questions are easy just complete a few of each type. 5	Starter: understanding what ratio notation means, equivalent ratios, cancelling ratios, convert between ratios and fractions Main: sharing a quantity in a ratio; finding the missing quantity given other quantities E.g. 1. If a quantity of money is divided in the ratio 5:3 and the smaller share is £90, how much is the larger share? (non-calculator)E.g.2 If a quantity of money is divided in the ratio 5:3 and the smaller share is £34.50, how much was the original quantity?
