Main: understanding that relative frequency is just an estimate of probability and using relative frequency to estimate frequencies

Demonstrate using mymaths – data – probability – relative frequency – slide 4. Pupils can copy example then pupils can complete slide 5 and the exercise above in their exercise books


Plenary – use slide 7 to compare theoretical with experimental probabilities and appreciate that relative frequency is more reliable with more trials
