Module 3 is the coursework element of the award and is the 1st module students will tackle. During the Autumn term, students will learn the necessary skills in Excel (delivered by Mrs Folwer and Miss Robinson). Mr Maney will deliver the actual coursework elements and from the first lesson, students will build up their coursework portfolio. Students are given a folder with dividers, ready prepared for the coursework evidence. This folder is required for ALL lessons including the Excel theory. The module is worth 40% of the overall award.

Module 1 and 2 are exam units worth 30% each. Module 1 will be delivered by Mrs Fowler or Miss Robinson (depending on group allocation) and Module 2 will be delivered by Mr Maney. The delivery of these units will start immediately after the Christmas break. During the spring and early summer terms the students will be given interim exams (3 per unit totalling 6). Full feedback on targets, performance and expectations will be recorded and reported to parents. The feeback is a good indication of progress. The Module 3 coursework will be completed out of class room lessons.

The timetable of events for each module are detailed on the relevant page.
Deadlines, exams (internal and external) and submission
are identified.
