The A2 course is delivered in 3 modules, 4, 5 and 6.

The A2 course has the same format and timetable as the AS before it. There are three modules, 4, 5 and 6. Module 6 is not unlike module 3 from the AS. It is a coursework module, worth 40% of the year and 20% of the whole award. The coursework is tackled first (again, like AS) and in the Autumn term students are shown the necessary skillsrequired in MS Access (with Mrs Fowler) to tackle a major project. Mr Maney will deliver the coursework elements and students will work on a personal project.

Units 5 and 6 (worth 30% of the year and 15% of the award each) are exam units. Students will be given 3 interim exams for both units and full parental reporting regarding targets and progress will be available (As for modules 1 and 2). Both examinations are in the summer window.
