2 Century Rules and Periods of Time- To be able to work out which date belongs to which century and vice versa. Also to understand that History can be divided into a number of 'ages' and have some knowledge about each of these ages.

3 Timelines and the use of scales - Understand the location of AD and BC on a timeline. Understand how a scale works on a timeline and be able to plot events accurately

Evidence work: Selection and types of evidence - Understand the different types of evidence. Be able to identify both Primary and Secondary sources and be able to explain the differences between them. Understand the differences between evidence that is oral, artefact or documentary.
