Dance Department Personnel

Time allocation for Dance
Year 7
 1 * 1 hour lesson per week
Year 8
 1 * 1 hour lesson per week

Year 9
 1 * 1 hour lesson per week
Year 10 + 11
 5 * 1 Hour lesson per fortnight

Year 12 + 13
 9 * 1 Hour lessons per fortnight

Year 7 - are taught in thier tutor groups with between 29 and 33 pupils in each class
Year 8 - are taught in smaller groups of 25 - 27 pupils which are mixed ability
Year 9 - students are taught and examined by City and Guilds qualification in performing arts at level 3
Year 10 + 11 - are taught in smaller groups. The groups depend on option block and other subject choices for GCSE courses
Year 12 + 13  - are taught in groups of 5 or 6
