Business GCSE

    Business Studies at GCSE combines business studies theory with application of real life case studies. In year 10 pupils
    study 3 areas - Marketing and advertising, People in business and Business ownership. They also complete a piece of
    coursework where they design a marketing campaign for a business of their choice.

    In year 11 pupils investigate Business finance, Business decisions on how and what to produce plus how a business is
    affected by factors outside its control.

    Pupils also produce a piece of coursework entitled "Investigate the possibility of setting up a small business in your
    local area" which makes up 25% of their total GCSE grade.
