fast paced, interactive event, led by an experienced
& practicing OFSTED Inspector, is intended for senior, middle
& aspiring managers who are responsible for monitoring the quality of
teaching on a departmental or
school basis.
What will the event
cover?
Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning is an
important issue if schools are going to share good practice in order to raise
standards and as part of performance management. Middle and senior managers require
excellent lesson observation skills if they are to monitor the quality of
teaching in a professional and supportive way. This course will examine the key issues
surrounding the monitoring of teaching and, using recorded video material,
develop practical lesson observation skills. It is intended for middle and senior
managers in schools who are responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching
on a departmental or school basis.
